question and the exact date for the current year is easily found.
Unlike Christmas, Mother’s Day doesn’t have a fixed
date, so it makes it more difficult for some to review their options
and remember when it is. Most people in the United States and
Canada know that it is sometime in May, but few remember that
it is always the second Sunday in May.
A calendar or the internet will provide you with the exact date
each year. Children want to give their mothers a Happy Mother’s
Day, so it is important to make sure that you know the day on
which it will fall each year.
Finding The Exact Date For Mothers Day
Despite all the advertising for Mother’s Day, people will still

card stores will advertise the date, and racks of Mother’s Day
cards will be filled.

on the fourth Sunday and not necessarily in May, but in the month
of Lent, which changes from year to year.

You’ll want time to get a Mothers Day gift and this way you’ll

well in advance as well, just without any alarms.

people each year, it is wise to have a reminder set up either

be rushing out the morning of the special day, to find Mother’s
Day gifts, flowers or chocolates.

prepare a special gift that requires more than a few dollars to
purchase. Being aware of the advertising prior to the holiday
can be helpful, but if in doubt, finding the answer is as easy
