Perfect Cup With A Tea Maker
By Fiona Harker
If you are one of those people who loves tea drinking and it
really makes your day special, you might want to check into a
tea maker to help make your life a bit easier.
Similar to coffee makers, tea makers are geared toward using
either the loose leaf tea or tea bags, depending on your preference
and generally come with the standard water heating component,
the compartment for the tea, and the pot or pitcher.
Some are better suited to making hot tea while others specialize
in iced tea and a third variety that can do well with either choice.
Most will have an opening in the top for the brewed tea to flow
into the pot or pitcher, and a handle with a lid that pivots.
In some models the tea is brewed in a compartment above before
it is released and in other models the tea infuser is suspended
in the pot with water surrounding it allowing it to steep.
Iced Tea Makers
For many people, using an iced tea maker is much easier than
going through the steps of brewing tea in the old-fashioned way,
of boiling the water and letting them steep, and some claim that
it’s ten times faster.
If that’s the case then there’s no doubt why it is becoming an
appliance seen more often in kitchens, even given the competition
for counter-space these days.
With the iced tea freely flowing because it’s just so easy to
make, you might just end up needing to get yourself a good ice
maker as well so that you can keep pace with the thirsty tea drinkers.
Heat Of Summer
When the heat of summer really kicks in you’ll definitely be
happy that you have a good tea maker that can keep up with the
demand and help satisfy the thirst of the family and anyone who
drops by for a bit of cool refreshment.
Whether it’s time to take break from a hectic day or enjoying
time to socialize with friends, an iced tea maker is a simple
way to for steep your favorite tea at home anytime of the day.
Iced Tea Maker Are Ideal For Social Occasions
They are also ideal for summer picnics, a backyard barbecues
and pool parties, or just everyday use because you can have a
fresh pitcher of iced tea always on hand. In fact, you might want
to think about getting a second pitcher so you never have to wait.
Another one of the great advantages of automatic tea makers is
that you can adjust the brewing time for almost any kind of tea,
but it should be noted that electric tea makers are not the best
for brewing green tea which needs to be brewed with below-boiling
water.
Electronic Tea Kettles
A new option is on the horizon for the true die-hard tea drinker,
and it’s interesting that electronic tea kettles are making some
technological advances that the tea makers are not.
You’ll soon be able to have an SMS tea kettle on your counter
that you will be able to turn on just by sending it an SMS message
from your phone. How’s that for convenience for those who need
their tea to start unwinding the moment they get in the door?
While tea drinking is a tradition that stretches back thousands
of years, there’s no reason to be stuck in the dark ages when
it comes to sitting down with your favorite tall glass of iced
tea or a warm cup of tea, and having a tea maker in the house
will allow you to get on with the business of relaxing all that
much faster.
