Stainless Steel Deep Fryer In Your Kitchen

By Jennifer Bowers

People just love deep fried foods and many people don’t want to have to run out to a restaurant to get their fix of their favorite deep fried treat. Deep fryer models are available in all kinds of shapes and sizes to fit a person’s needs, budget and even personal sense of aesthetics.

From small, round models to long, deep rectangular styles and many configurations in between, there are plenty of choices when it comes to finding the right deep fryer for the home. Recently, the stainless steel deep fryer has become very popular, in large part because of the trends in kitchen design that feature stainless steel appliances.

Larger And More Versatile Stainless Steel Deep Fryers

Some models of deep fat fryers come equipped with one cooking basket, while the larger and more versatile models often come with two or three mesh baskets. No matter what the size of the unit you need to be able to meet the needs of your fried-food-loving family and friends, if you want to be stylish while whipping up your next batch of fried foods then a stainless steel model is really the only way to go.

There is a unique and beautiful luster that a stainless steel deep fryer has which attracts attention and can even be somewhat awe-inspiring. The shine of the stainless exterior of these special appliances makes them even seem a bit sexy and can grab the interest and admiration of men, as well as women.

Stainless Steel Appeals To Men And Women In The Kitchen

For some reason, men particularly enjoy the attractiveness of a stainless steel and how the stainless sheath seems to flow around the unit, embracing it like fluid water. Most men think of stainless steel cooking products as being less "feminine" and are inclined to feel more at home in front of a stainless steel barbecue or deep fryer.

Women seem to enjoy the sleek sophistication and simple beauty that stainless steel electric fryers evoke. These units also give their owners, both male and female, a feeling of having the best and the finest appliance that can be considered nothing less than a professional deep fryer, regardless of the size of the unit.

Both men and women enjoy the aesthetic appeal and pride of ownership of a stainless steel fryer, yet when the deep fryer oil starts to coat the fine exterior, the sleek and sexy appearance starts to fade away.

Cleaning Your Stainless Steel Deep Fryer

When this inevitable situation occurs, people start to scramble to learn how to review their options and save the unit from ending up with the look of dirty, dingy, average-looking appliances. Fortunately, there are some quick and easy solutions that can be used with all stainless steel appliances to restore their stunning shine and luster.

Whether you are cleaning your deep fryer or any other stainless steel appliance, the biggest "no-no" is using any kind of abrasive scouring pad, such as steel wool. The same holds true for using an abrasive cleaner, such as a dry detergent. Any type of abrasive will scratch and mar the surface and ruin its lustrous shine and beauty.

Use A Nice Soft Cloth And Gentle Dish Detergent

Instead, when it is time to clean your stainless steel appliance, start with a nice, soft cloth and a gentle dish detergent that is formulated for removing oil and grease. Put a little of the detergent on the cloth and rub onto the area that needs to be cleaned.

After coating the unit with the detergent, it should be left to stand for five to ten minutes, with a paper towel placed beneath for the grease and soap that will drip off. Next, fill up the sink with water that is as hot as you can stand to put your hand into and dip another soft cloth in the hot water and use it to clean off the remaining oil, dirt and soap.

In no time your stainless steel deep fryer will be looking brand spanking new and ready for compliments and admiration once again.
