Lemon Pepper Chicken Is Simply Delicious

Lemon pepper chicken is simply delicious when cooked under the
right conditions with fresh ingredients.
So many people are intimidated by cooking. They feel that they
need to review their options and have expensive equipment and
complicated recipes to put a tasty meal together. One of my girlfriends
told me that she never invites anyone over to dinner because she
cannot cook well enough.
A Simple Meal For Close Friends
She and her husband have been invited to the homes of many friends
for dinner, but instead of reciprocating the invitations they
invite the people to go out to dinner. Many times, they will then
invite the guests back to their home for dessert.
My friend likes to have people come into her home, she is just
too afraid to cook for them. I suggested that she plan a very
simple meal and invite close friends that she feels comfortable
with.
She said that my husband and I could be her first guests. She
invited us over for dinner and then asked if I would come early
to help her. We arrived in the late afternoon. Our husbands sat
down to watch football and my friend and I went into the kitchen.
Boneless Skinless Chicken
She had bought boneless skinless chicken breasts to serve. I
asked her what she would do with the chicken if my husband and
I were not there. She said that she would season them with lemon
pepper and grill them.
She said she had a recipe for grilled lemon pepper chicken over
fettuccini that she and her husband love. I told her I would sit
and visit with her, while she prepared the food.
Add Lemon Pepper And Heat
I had a glass of wine and kept up a constant conversation while
she seasoned the chicken breast with the lemon pepper and heated
their gas grill. She put on a large pot of salted water to boil
and began making a salad.
She started the oven and placed a loaf of bread in to warm. The
entire time she was preparing the meal we were chatting about
different people and about our children.
With Fettuccini Pasta
I offered to set the table as she put the finishing touches on
the meal. We then told our husbands to come and eat. The lemon
pepper chicken and pasta was wonderful. The whole meal came together
very well.
As we were cleaning up I congratulated her on preparing a great
dinner. She said that she finally realized that cooking for others
does not have to be any different than cooking for your family.
I think she will be asking other people over for dinner soon.
She was very pleased when I asked her, for the recipe for her
lemon pepper chicken.
