Latte Coffee With The Pumpkin Spice Aroma In The Morning

By Julia Taylor-Fernandez

Latte coffee is available everywhere these days. A number of years ago you could only get one or two types of coffee and no real variety.

Then came the cappuccino coffee and the latte coffee with all the variety of flavours, has given the coffee world a shake up. Now, you can make your own latte coffee at home, whenever you want.

You don’t have to wait in line at Starbucks. Just make a small investment in a coffee machine and then you can have your coffee latte in the morning, the afternoon, the evening. You choose the best time.

Okay, let’s be honest here; when was your last cup of coffee? I would be willing to bet big bucks that it was today. Why? Because we’re all addicted to the stuff. It’s funny how that fresh-ground aroma never gets old.

Every single morning I look forward to my vanilla or pumpkin spice latte coffee. I can smell that phenomenal espresso before I even make it to the kitchen, which is odd, because I haven’t made it yet.

I guess our minds get trained to that java scent. It becomes something we need, rather than something that sounds delectable.

Where to buy an ideal cup of Joe? Well, so much of this depends on your tastes. Most people seem to be perfectly satisfied with a latte coffee of some sort from Starbuck’s.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

I will fully admit that I love their pumpkin spice latte. It’s great because of their secret syrup. The espresso on the other hand is average at best. If I were craving just a simple latte coffee with vanilla or plain, I would avoid Starbuck’s.

I can actually name two that I prefer over all the rest. One is called Jumpstart Java and it’s located in Springboro, Ohio. The other one is called Java Jive and it’s located in Cary, North Carolina. Nope, I didn’t find a great one in Seattle, Washington.

Most of them there were Starbuck’s and Seattle’s Best that I saw. When it comes to chains, I have to go with Nordstrom’s latte coffee over the others. At least theirs has a nice smooth flavor.

Make Your Own Latte Coffee

Buy it and make it! What do you think about this concept? Anyone can purchase an espresso machine now days. Sure, a nice one will cost you a bit, but it will also pay itself off quickly.

Not to mention the fact that you’ll be able to enjoy the latte coffee of your choice on a whim. No driving or waiting in line involved. Just you in your kitchen. I will say that I enjoy having the option.

Especially in the morning when I need that wake up kick to get ready to go to work. All my yawns seem to disappear once I have the latte coffee.

My family seems to like the latte coffee, they think its better than the other coffees we used to have, and the choice of flavours is awesome. All you have to do is go to the gourmet store and pick a flavour you like best.

After initially trying a number of different flavours, our family likes to alternate between vanilla and pumpkin spice latte. We play a little game every morning. The family tries to guess which flavour of latte coffee I have prepared that morning.

By now, they can tell from the aroma the flavour of latte coffee.

What are the kitchen basics I need?
Kitchen basics that every kitchen should have are pots and pans (in a variety of sizes), measuring cups, measuring spoons, mixing bowls and an assortment of kitchen gadgets that make life easier.

One of these gadgets is a can opener. Being forced to saw off the bottom of a can could take a little of the fervor away from cooking. Also consider keeping whisks, spatulas and tongs as part of your cooking basics.

Another item basic that is used often is a drainer/strainer. These can come in the form of bowls or be part of a boiling pan set. It is used to drain spaghetti water from the pasta or can be used for anything similar.
