You have two options. You can either buy a bottle of bbq sauce or make your own, using your secret recipe. Now if you want to make bbq sauce and you do not have a recipe, then you can use our recipe as a starting point and then review your options to improve upon it and create a better sauce.

Making your own sauce, allows you to control the ingredients and make the sauce you want. You can choose to make the sauce using tomato, vinegar or mustard as the primary ingredient. After you make your first sauce, you can have fun and change the ingredients to change the taste of the sauce, creating a new sauce.

There are a number of ways to use BBQ sauce when cooking your meals, as a bbq sauce can be used before, during and after the cooking process. As a tip, you need to avoid using too much sauce containing tomatoes or sugar while cooking. These ingredients burn easily and ruin the taste of meat.

Making Your First Sauce With White Vinegar

A basic barbecue sauce recipe should have some white vinegar with molasses and mixed in a saucepan over medium heat. You can change the taste of the sauce by replacing vinegar with cider.

Ketchup can be added to the mix, just after it is taken from the fire. To improve the taste of your sauce, you may include one or two tablespoons of spicy yellow mustard. This gives your sauce a bit of a kick.

Sweeten The Sauce With Brown Sugar

One option is to sweeten the sauce by adding a little brown sugar or honey. Alternatively, if you want a spicier sauce, chop some red chili pepper or jalapenos. Another option is to create a fruity flavor by adding mangoes, apples or strawberries. You may look at using different options each time you make the sauce, to see which one you like best.

The traditional Kansas City barbecue sauce is thick and enhances the taste of meat when added to pork ribs. The preparation will take about ten minutes and the cooking takes about half an hour when using this recipe.

Preparing To Make A Kansas City Barbecue Sauce

You will need one and a quarter cups of ketchup with a cup of water. You also need a tablespoon each of garlic powder, onion powder and pepper. Two tablespoons molasses, one third of a cup of cider and a quarter cup of dark brown sugar for this recipe.

Prepare a teaspoon each of celery, salt and allspice. This is an easy recipe and a good recipe to start practicing, to make a delicious barbecue sauce.

Cooking It All In A Saucepan

Your next step is to combine all these ingredients in a saucepan and heat over a medium flame. Stir continuously for five to ten minutes, then reduce the heat. Let the sauce simmer for about twenty minutes.

At this point, it should have a thick consistency. Remove it from the heat and let it cool, then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For a richer sauce, use tomato paste instead of ketchup.

Allow Time For The Flavours To Blend Together

Make sure that your guests enjoy the sauce, by making it a few days before serving. This allows time for the flavors to blend together well. It also allows you to make changes if the bbq sauce is not perfect.

Many barbecue sauces in the U.S. States of North and South Carolina include vinegar. The vinegar is a good complement to grilled or smoked meat, as it penetrates deep into the food, giving a sharp and sour taste.

The advantage of using vinegar is that it tenderizes the meat, making it easier to pull off the bone. As with any sauce, it is best if you do this in advance, to allow the flavors to mix and create a delicious bbq sauce.

LDL cholesterol is bad. All cholesterol is carried by lipoproteins but the low-density lipoproteins moves in the blood stream and allows the cholesterol to begin to accumulate.

If there is too much LDL then the cholesterol begins building up on the walls of the arteries. It begins to form plaque which makes the arteries hard and not as flexible. When clots form and block the artery a heart attack or stroke can occur.
