Barbeques Galore Sells Acclaimed Gas Grills
By Frank Russelton
In 2008, Barbeques Galore filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Their
private equity holder bailed and people weren’t splurging on high-end
custom barbecues as much anymore. They closed down eastern US
outlets in Maryland, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina.
However, their assets were later purchased by Grand Home Holdings
Inc. less than a month later and west coast stores continue to
flourish as people begin to think about cooking up their favorite
beef BBQ recipes and chicken BBQ recipes outdoors this summer.
Previous customers continue to review their options and be satisfied
with their products since store credits, gift cards and warranties
are still being honored, despite the bankruptcy.
Crossray System Uses Infrared Heat
BBQ Galore is always pushing the envelope to create bolder and
better technology. For instance, their new Crossray system uses
infrared heat to cook food evenly and quickly, while also using
50% less gas and decreasing smoke emissions by 80%.
By using angled infrared panels on the side of the grill box,
you can be assured you won’t have any nasty flare-ups or encounter
meat that is half-charred or half-rare. "We are incredibly
proud to have developed the most revolutionary grilling system
to reach the market in nearly fifteen years," said Jeffery
Sears, CEO for BBQ Galore.
Porsche X-Series And The Grand Turbo
"Our in-house engineers have spent a lot of time and effort
to make Crossray a superior cooking technology that is also good
for the environment." Crossray barbecues range from $999
to $8,488 and include: the T-Grill, the DS-Grill, the Odeon, the
Porsche X-Series and the Grand Turbo.
Barbeques Galore offers several highly acclaimed barbecue gas
grills. The $1,000 Turbo Elite 3-burner barbecue propane grill
received 5/5 stars on one consumer website and ranked top-notch
for ease of use, durability and style.
Quality Of Service
"One thing I did not expect was the quality of service from
BBQ Galore," writes an anonymous reviewer, who recalls when
one of the IR burners cracked from misuse a year 1/2 later, the
company sent out a replacement within a week, free of charge and
with no questions asked.
Another reputable grill is the $800 Bar-B-Chef Deluxe S/S 31
on Cart Charcoal Grill, which ranked 5/5 for durability and ease
of cleaning. Customers love this model for the front-loading doors,
which allows them to stoke the fire without moving the meat, the
slide-out tray for easy cleaning and the adjustable charcoal tray.
Stylish And Sturdy Barbecues
If you take your grilling seriously and want to buy a barbecue
that will be stylish and sturdy, then BBQ Galore is your specialty
retailer. The real estate crisis has hurt the backyard barbecuing
business slightly, which has led to several store closures along
the eastern seaboard, but CEO Jeffrey Sears assures consumers
that their warranties, gift cards and products will remain stable.
"I feel compelled to remind you of who we are and what we
stand by," he writes in a recent press release. "Barbeques
Galore believes in enhancing your outdoor lifestyle and doing
our best to assist you in creating the best experience in the
backyard.
Whether you’re shopping for a new grill, need repair tips for
your existing grill or simply want to discover what you should
we grill for dinner, you can rely on us to show you the way."

Did You Know?
How can I tell if the meat is cooked to a safe temperature?
Some barbecue cooking "experts" will tell
you to test the meat by poking it with your fingers and then referencing
a portion of your hand to determine the doneness.
If you really want to be safe and know
the exact temperatures of your meat use a thermometer. There
are many thermometers on the market these days that can be inserted
and left in while you barbecue.
The metal thermometer attaches to a wire
which attaches to the electronic portion of the thermometer which
registers the temperature of the meat. All you have to do is set
the thermometer to notify you when it reaches a certain
temperature.
That is the safest and easiest way to tell
if your meat is cooked properly.
